Many campers love their dogs and can't imagine camping without them. We agree, but with
the following important rules:
- Dogs must be leashed at all times
- Owners must clean up after their dogs immediately whenever, where ever, they 'do their
duty'
- Dogs may swim as long as they are on a long leash and do not go on the gravel
(people) beach
- Dogs that cannot be controlled or cannot be quieted must be removed from the park
- Dogs (and their owners, too!) must not disturb their neighbors--please take any
complaints to the campground manager
Meet Dakota, the campground mascot and resident canine. She's a rescued American
Eskimo dog, about 16 years old with dimming eyesight and hearing. Beware, she's not too
friendly when her owner isn't around if she's tied up outside, but when you get to know her,
she's a love.
