Many campers love their dogs and can't imagine camping without them.  We agree, but with
the following important rules:

  • Dogs must be leashed at all times
  • Owners must clean up after their dogs immediately whenever, where ever, they 'do their
    duty'
  • Dogs may swim as long as they are on a long leash and do not go on the gravel
    (people) beach
  • Dogs that cannot be controlled or cannot be quieted must be removed from the park
  • Dogs (and their owners, too!) must not disturb their neighbors--please take any
    complaints to the campground manager
Meet Dakota, the campground mascot and resident canine.  She's a rescued American
Eskimo dog, about 1
6 years old with dimming eyesight and hearing.  Beware, she's not too
friendly when her owner isn't around if she's tied up outside, but when you get to know her,
she's a love.
